I have encaps (Paid) on my site.
The guy that built my site and hosts it will not repsond to me so I am forced to move my site to another host.
I really do not want to re-do my whole album and I am getting errors trying to set it up. I have figured a lot of this out though I am stuck again and feel I will be forced to start my whole album again...
Is it possible to keep the work that has been done?
I think that would require some help.
I have the db file and all other files from the old site (Which is still up and running BTW).
When trying to make a new sql db I am having issues as the new host will not allow some characters as the old db had.
How can I keep my photo album in tack and move it?
RIght now I am stuck at
Unable to connect the database host localhost with username xxxxxxx and password xxxxxxx
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
Any help with this would be great

Hello, I want to use the pictures in my gallery homepage, but I can not urge in the directory.
Htdocs folder I use for the front page and inside this folder create a folder called / encaps for the system of galleries.
How I can use the picture gallery on my main page?
- I do not want to use iframe
- Use include links do not work
Is there any variable that allows me to use image gallery anywhere?

hola, yo quiero usar la galeria de imagenes en mi pagina principal, pero no puedo instararlo en el directoria principal.
Yo uso htdocs folder para la pagina principal y dentro de esta carpeta cree una carpeta llamada /encaps para el sistema de galerias.
¿Cómo puedo usar la galeria de imagen en mi pagina principal?
- no quiero usar iframe
- use include no funcionan los links
¿habrá alguna variable que me permita usar la galeria de imagen donde quiera?
PD: Perdon, no hablo bien ingles, use un traductor. |

Hi, when trying to configure as stated in step 3 of the instructions I get this message:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'dbuser'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /users/leaf3/users/web/tesa/web/encapsgallery/core/db_sql.class.php on line 12
Error on mysql_connect()
I already tried the method showed on the video instructions and nothing.
What should I do?

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your script and i have uploaded into my web,
i'm a lerner and trying to develop website using self studies and now i have compleating. only i have to insert chat window and im'm doing it also.
However, when i run your admin panel came below php message on winow, pls help me to sort out this. (my web hosting is free host)
message is "Warning: set_time_limit() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/a2348090/public_html/photos/admin/common.ini.php on line 7"

I'm just testing your software to see if it will do what I need and so far it looks brilliant!
I have two questions though:
Is it possible to remove the quantity field from the shopcart (or just have it show '1')?
Is it possible to mark an item as sold to prevent it being added to the cart but still have it displayed in the catalog?

To remove the quantity field you need to modify shopcart.php

I am using Encaps in an iframe and the background is missing in IE.

I checked it out in Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Sea Monkey and Maxthon and the background is fine.
Can anyone help please?
