If you are webmaster, if you need to monitor bunch of your websites, WwWatchdog will help you to check are your websites alive or not. This utility will get html from your webpages and compare some part with expected value: let's say you check webpage title, using regular expression "title.(.*)./title", and you expect it to be "My website - Page 1" (not "Expired" or "Hacked by" or "Database failure")
